Brian Alexander
Brian served his apprenticeship in 1995 within a small Renault dealership in the East side of Edinburgh. In 1999 he moved on to a larger dealership in the West side of Edinburgh and gained experience as a technician for many years.
In 2003, through his hard work and determination he became a Renault Technical Expert and he also worked as workshop controller. Brian was also in charge of warranties and had a brief encounter as Assistant Manager before deciding that he wasn’t ready to put down his tools just yet and headed back to the workshop.
Barrie Sawers
Barrie began his career by serving his apprenticeship in a Mazda dealership and then in 1999, once he was a qualified technician, he went onto work for a large Renault dealership gaining valuable experience in Renault vehicles.
In 2004, through his hard work and vast knowledge, Barrie progressed to become a Renault Technical Expert and also had the responsibility as workshop controller and warranty claims.
Kelly
Having never worked in the motor trade, Kelly joined Rentec in 2010 with no previous knowledge of cars other than being able to drive one. Five years on she has learnt a lot, she may not be able to give mechanical advice over the phone but she’d like to think her customer service skills make up for that!
Callum
Callum started his apprenticeship with us in 2010 and is now a qualified technician. Callum has a strong work ethic and is a valued member of staff.
